Terms of use

The rules under which businesses and independent professionals use zastranke.si and under which their clients book appointments through the booking page.

Last updated:

1. Introductory provisions

1.1 Platform provider

The zastranke.si platform is provided by Računalniško programiranje, Aleksei Glebov s.p., Ljubljanska cesta 28A, 3000 Celje, Slovenia, registration number 7383932000, tax number 36616699. The provider is not registered for VAT.

1.2 What zastranke.si is

zastranke.si is a software tool with which a business runs its schedule, publishes its own booking page, keeps a client record and issues invoices. We are not a marketplace and we do not bring in clients: a client reaches the business's page through a link the business sends itself.

1.3 Who these terms apply to

The terms apply to businesses and independent professionals with a user account, and to people who book an appointment through a booking page. The sections on subscription and payment apply only to account owners.

1.4 Acceptance of the terms

You accept the terms by registering an account or by submitting a booking. If you do not agree with them, do not use the platform.

1.5 Language and governing law

The terms are published in Slovenian, English, Russian and Croatian. In case of discrepancy between the versions, the Slovenian text prevails. The relationship is governed by the law of the Republic of Slovenia.

2. Definitions

  • Platform — the zastranke.si online service together with the booking pages created on it.
  • Business — a company or independent professional with a user account on the platform.
  • Client — a person who books an appointment through a business's page.
  • Booking page — the business's public page where a client picks a service and a free slot.
  • Appointment — the time reserved for the business to deliver its service.
  • Subscription — the business's paid access to the platform's paid features.

3. Roles and responsibility

3.1 The role of zastranke.si

We provide and maintain the software tool. We are not a party to the service the business delivers to its client and we do not warrant its quality, price or delivery.

3.2 The role of the business

The business alone defines its services, prices, durations, working hours and cancellation rules, and is responsible for the accuracy of what it publishes, for delivering the service and for communicating with the client.

3.3 Division of responsibility

4. User account

4.1 Registration

You open an account with an email address and a password. The address must be confirmed; until it is, features are limited. One account belongs to one business or professional.

4.2 Age limit

An account may be opened by a person with legal capacity aged 18 or over. Booking an appointment for someone under 15 is the responsibility of their legal guardian.

4.3 Accurate data and access security

The account owner gives accurate business details, keeps them up to date and protects the sign-in credentials. Access may be granted only to authorised people, and the owner is responsible for their actions. Report any suspected account misuse to support@zastranke.si immediately.

4.4 Suspension and closure

We may restrict or close an account on a breach of these terms, on suspected misuse or where the law requires it. Where possible we warn you first and allow a reasonable period to remedy the breach. Closing an account does not change what is already owed for a period already served.

5. The booking page and appointments

5.1 Setting up services and hours

The business defines its services, their duration and price, its working hours and exceptions. A client sees only the slots that are genuinely free under those settings, in the business's time zone.

5.2 The booking process

  1. The business sends a link to its booking page.
  2. The client picks a service and a free slot.
  3. The client enters a name and phone number, and an email address if they wish.
  4. The client confirms the booking; no app install and no registration are required.
  5. The appointment appears in the business's schedule and the chosen time is taken.

5.3 The relationship between business and client

A submitted booking creates an arrangement between the client and the business. zastranke.si is not a party to it and takes no commission from the price of the service.

5.4 Rescheduling and cancellation

A client can reschedule the appointment themselves up to the cutoff the business sets; the old slot frees up and the business is notified. Cancellation rules, any charges and the consequences of a no-show are set by the business and must be published before booking.

6. Invoices to the business's clients

The platform lets a business prepare and send an invoice to its client after an appointment. The content of the invoice, the amount, its tax treatment and record keeping are the business's obligation.

We do not provide online payments. The client transfers the amount directly to the business, and the business marks the payment on the platform manually. We neither accept nor hold client funds.

7. Subscription and payment

Plans, prices, billing periods, automatic renewal and cancellation are set out in the Subscription terms, and refund eligibility in the Refund policy. The subscription is paid to us for access to the platform and is not payment for the services a business delivers to its clients.

8. Acceptable use

The platform may not be used to:

  • sending unsolicited messages or marketing without a legal basis;
  • unlawful activity or offering services prohibited in Slovenia;
  • unauthorised access to other people's accounts or data;
  • overloading, probing or circumventing the system's security mechanisms;
  • publishing misleading information about the business, prices or availability;
  • automated scraping of platform content without our written permission.

9. Content and intellectual property

9.1 The business's content

The business keeps all rights in the text, images and data it uploads. It grants us a non-exclusive right to host, display and process that content to the extent needed to run the platform. The business warrants that it holds the rights required for publication.

9.2 The platform

The platform's software, design, brand and documentation remain ours. Using the platform transfers no intellectual property rights to the user.

10. Availability and support

10.1 Availability

We aim to keep the platform continuously available but do not warrant an availability percentage. Interruptions may arise from faults, attacks or the acts of infrastructure providers.

10.2 Maintenance

Planned maintenance is carried out outside normal working hours where practical, and we give advance notice of longer work. Urgent security work may be carried out without prior notice.

10.3 Support

Report faults to support@zastranke.si with a description that lets us reproduce the problem. We respond within a reasonable time during Slovenian business hours. Support does not cover advice on running the business or on its tax obligations.

11. Liability

11.1 The business's services

The business alone is liable for the service it delivers to a client. Complaints about the service are addressed to the business.

11.2 Platform operation

We are responsible for providing the platform in accordance with these terms. We are not liable for loss arising from a business's incorrect settings, wrongly published prices or hours, or from the acts of third parties beyond our control.

11.3 Limitation of liability

Towards a business, our liability is limited to the subscription amount it paid in the 12 months before the loss arose. We are not liable for lost profit or indirect loss. The limitation does not apply to intent, gross negligence, or cases where limiting liability is excluded by law.

12. Personal data protection

The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy policy. Its section eleven is the data processing agreement between the business as controller and us as processor, and applies to the business's client data.

13. Term and termination

The relationship lasts as long as the account exists. A business may stop using the platform at any time and request deletion of its data; the effect on a paid period is governed by the Subscription terms. On termination, the provisions on liability, intellectual property and data protection remain in force.

14. Complaints and dispute resolution

Send a complaint about the platform to support@zastranke.si. We reply within 8 working days of receipt.

We do not recognise any provider of out-of-court consumer dispute resolution as competent, which does not affect a consumer's right to use the European online dispute resolution platform. Disputes that cannot be settled amicably fall under the jurisdiction of the courts in Slovenia.

17. Final provisions

If a provision of these terms is invalid, the rest remain in force and the invalid provision is replaced by one closest to its purpose. These terms supersede earlier versions from the date of the last update.
